Casinos set another revenue record in July

Maryland casinos continue to post record revenue figures as the $180.14 million generated in July was a single-month high since the launch of gaming in the state, according to Maryland Lottery and Gaming.
The Purse Dedication Account, which is funded by a 6% share of revenue from video lottery terminals at six casinos, benefited as well in July. The PDA earned $7.25 million to help push the calendar year-to-date figure to $43.64 million.
