MRC approves shift of Pimlico summer meet
The Maryland Jockey Club will move the nine August racing dates scheduled for Pimlico Race Course to September given approval of the request by the Maryland Racing Commission May 3
The switch is a result of a previously scheduled event at Pimlico—the 2022 Moonrise Festival Aug. 6-7. So Laurel Park will take over the following racing dates (all Friday through Sunday): Aug. 5-7, Aug. 12-14 and Aug. 19-21.
