The Maryland Thoroughbred Horsemen’s Association, in a continued commitment to the backstretch community based at Laurel Park and Pimlico Race Course, now has two vans available for transportation services.

The MTHA recently purchased another used van that, like the first one, can seat about 10 people.

MTHA Recreation Director Dan Mangum (410-802-5798) provides weekly van service at Pimlico on Tuesday and either Wednesday or Thursday. He generally is at Laurel on Wednesday. Schedules for both tracks may change weekly depending on need at each facility including scheduled medical appointments or trips to supermarkets and other stores.
