Racing Authority report to General Assembly delayed

The Maryland Thoroughbred Racetrack Operating Authority, created earlier this year by the General Assembly, said submission of its report on the path forward for the industry has been delayed until early 2024.

In a Dec. 1 public notice, the MTROA said the deadline for submission of the report has been moved to Jan. 5, 2024, from Dec. 1, 2023, with consent of the General Assembly.
