Open Board Meetings
The Maryland Thoroughbred Horsemen’s Association is proud to maintain one of the most transparent governance structures in the Thoroughbred industry. The MTHA is believed to be one of the only horsemen’s and breeder organizations in the nation that regularly conducts fully open Board of Directors meetings for its membership.
Transparency, accountability, and member participation remain core principles of the Association’s leadership philosophy.
The MTHA Board of Directors typically conducts bi-monthly meetings that are open to the full membership, and all members are encouraged to attend and participate. These meetings provide an opportunity for horsemen to stay informed on important industry developments, legislative matters, racing operations, benevolence programs, financial updates, and other issues affecting Maryland racing and the livelihoods of its participants.
Members may join remotely using the following persistent ZOOM link: http://mdhorsemen.com/zoom
The MTHA strongly believes that an informed and engaged membership is essential to the long-term success and integrity of Maryland racing.
